Probably the well known climate control mixing flaps/connectors are to blame for your problem. 90% of all heating/ cooling/ noise from dash/ venting direction/ etc issues in the Bravo fitted with climate control are caused by some connector pieces braking.

Ive had my 1.4 t-jet for about a month now and keep getting a stuttering when I accellerate in 5th and 6th gear and occasionally in 4th.It seems to be getting worse.The car has 30k on the clock and when town driving its fine but get the problems when on the motorway. They certainly seem like simple engines and considering they've been used in the Grande Punto Sporting, 2007 Bravo, the 500L for a short time, the Alfa MiTo (badged TB 120) & the Giulietta for its entire 10 year production run, the lack of reported problems suggests there's not a lot to worry about with the engine.
