Hi Guys hope you can help. My doblo 2008 1.9 jtd diesel went into limp mode last week and then won't start, my usual help wasn't available and I call the (local rip of merchant)garage, he told me he would pick up and return car free of charge call me that afternoon and let me know cost of repair.
The injection system of a Fiat Doblo Cargo manages the fuel intake into the engine unit , it replaces the old carburettors. It has the benefit to be much more precise and to come, under pressure, to release the fuel in the engine unit. The injection pump takes care of pressurizing the fuel and transferring it to the injectors, and the injectors
Norfolk UK. Jan 29, 2015. #5. It's hydraulics on the doblo. I would be wondering if the reason the old belt failed so catastrophically is that the power steering pump was/is on its way out hence the grinding problem you're having and stressed the old belt to the point of failure obviously you've now changed the belt but maybe not fixed the fault.
1. Starting problems. A common problem with Fiat Doblò is having trouble starting. So, if your car is having difficulty starting, check the high-pressure pump sensor. The high-pressure pump sensor pressurizes the fuel that comes in from the fuel tank before sending it to the fuel rail.
This Doblo has a low mileage/city used and stood for the best part of a year so little surprise as to what the problem would be, if correct. Now I have gone down the road of buying an interface to operate Fiatecuscan and look forward to another learning curve The technician at the Fiat main dealers said they get loads in with the same problem
I carried out the work when the van had been unused and fuel pressure had gone down. I had air entering the system but the problem was not by the sender or tank it was fuel return and the plastic connector on top of the injectors, for the first time in 4 years it now displays a steady 53 mpg on the trip.
6. Hold the multimeter probes against the other 2 prongs on the relay. Plug the multimeter probes into the ports on the bottom of the machine so you can use them for testing. Hold either of the probes against one of the prongs labeled with 30 or 87. Then press the second probe against the last prong on the relay.
And do not get me started on Fiat maintenance, they never seem to be able to get the right parts, or have the appointment booked in properly. Heating does not work from cold, so blows freezing air
271. Jun 10, 2021. #2. Hi tomskimc. I think in Fiat usage P0089 refers to the fuel pressure being outside limits, i.e. too high or too low. Cutting out makes me think that too low is the more likely. It could be a faulty pressure regulator, but there are quite a few other things that can cause pressure to be too low.

Hi All Had this problem since buying Dobby 10 months ago. Starts fine first thing in the morning but go for a run 10, 15, 100 miles and stop engine. Sometimes it starts and other times have to turn it over 5 or 6 times before it eventually starts! A small history - I have serviced it, new diesel filter, air filter etc. New timing belt, water pump.
